How our pricing structure works

Our pricing starts with a base rate that includes the cost of QuickBooks Online. We add additional fees for extra bank accounts, credit cards, and loans in excess of 3, and any other subscriptions you sign up for like payroll software.

Need Catch Up Work?

That’s easy! We charge based on the number of months you need caught up and allow you up to 6 months to pay the balance. Sometimes we even have discounts! Your quote will reflect any discounts on catch up costs.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Our pricing is set with a base rate which includes up to three accounts and the cost of QuickBooks. We do not ask you to pay for extra software or connections, and charge a minimal flat rate for extra accounts.

  • My Ecom Accountant is specifically built for ecommerce sellers, not only by professional accountants, but our founders were previously ecommerce sellers. Our founders have started and run multiple businesses including Accounting, Ecommerce, Recreational Rentals. We have been in the accounting industry for over 17 years and understand the ecommerce industry more than many bookkeepers and tax preparers.

    We are involved in many influential ecommerce business Facebook groups and stay in touch with industry trends and changes daily.

    We don’t actively sell on any ecommerce sites, so we are no competition to your business. Some ecommerce bookkeepers and accountants are actively selling on Amazon and pose a risk to your business.

    We also do not outsource any of our work to contractors or over-seas bookkeepers like some of our competitors.

  • Your price may change as your business grows, if you add extra credit cards, bank accounts, or loans. But it will only increase by a minimal charge per account added in excess of the 3 included in your rate. As you remove accounts, your monthly amount may decrease as well. Outside of these price changes, we try not to increase our base rates unless necessary to continue to provide you and your business with the best possible service.

  • Our service contracts are month to month and you can click a button right in the portal to cancel your services at any time. If you received a special promotion like a discounted rate to pay a full year up front (for example) those promotional rates may be non-refundable.

  • The simple answer is no. We do not ask you to sign up for any extra subscriptions, services, connections, etc. In addition, aside from your catch up costs if applicable and your monthly rate, we do not have any hidden or extra charges unlike many of our competitors.
